Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
You’ll be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your Arusha hotel for an overnight rest before your safari begins. Arusha, located at the foot of Mount Meru, offers a pleasant climate and serves as Tanzania’s main safari hub.

Accommodation: Njiro Legacy (Mid-range)

Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is known for its massive elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River which attracts wildlife all year. Expect to see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and leopards. Later, continue to Suricata Boma Lodge.

Day 3: Tarangire → Serengeti National Park
Travel through the Ngorongoro highlands, enjoying views of the crater before descending into the Serengeti. The park’s vast plains are home to the Great Migration, large predator populations, and diverse habitats. Evening game drive en route to Ang’ata Migration Ndutu Camp.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Migration Experience
Start early for a full-day game drive dedicated to tracking the Great Wildebeest Migration. Depending on the season, you’ll explore key areas where the herds gather—Ndutu during calving (Jan–Mar) or Northern Serengeti for the Mara River crossings (June–Sept). After a memorable day, return to camp.

Day 5: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti with chances to spot the Big Five before traveling to the Ngorongoro highlands. Your lodge sits above the crater rim, offering dramatic views and a tranquil evening.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour + Optional Mto wa Mbu Walking Tour
Descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas. Look out for lions, elephants, hippos, massive herds of grazers, and the endangered black rhino. Have lunch inside the crater, then return to Suricata Boma Lodge. Optional cultural walking tour in Mto wa Mbu.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park → Arusha
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its tree-climbing lions, thousands of flamingos, and rich birdlife, the park is full of scenic contrasts—woodlands, cliffs, and open plains. After the game drive, return to Arusha for overnight.

Day 8: Arusha National Park → Departure
Explore Arusha National Park, a diverse landscape of forests, craters, and Mount Meru slopes. Ideal for birdwatchers, the park features giraffes, buffalo, zebras, monkeys, and occasional elephants. After the tour, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure.
