Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Airport to Karatu
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, your Aglow Safaris guide will transfer you to the peaceful town of Karatu. Enjoy a relaxing evening at Eileen’s Trees Inn as you rest and prepare for the days ahead.
Main Destination: Mto wa Mbu / Karatu
Accommodation: Eileen’s Trees Inn – Mid-range
Meals & Drinks: All meals + drinking water
Day 2–3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park—home of the Great Migration. Enjoy afternoon and full-day game drives across the vast plains, known for big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as huge herds of zebra, buffalo, and wildebeest.
Return each evening to Serengeti Wild Camp inside Central Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. This massive volcanic caldera holds over 30,000 large mammals including rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingos. Game viewing is incredibly rewarding due to the dense concentration of wildlife.

Day 5: Cultural Experience at Lake Eyasi
Today you’ll explore the traditions of two indigenous groups:
Hadzabe tribe – Join them on a traditional bush hunt and learn their ancient survival skills.
Datoga tribe – Observe their metal-working and blacksmith practices.
You’ll also enjoy a relaxing walk around Lake Eyasi before returning to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park → Arusha (End of Tour)
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This scenic park is known for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, flamingos, and diverse habitats. After your game drive, you’ll return to Arusha for drop-off, marking the end of your safari.
